Jpeg vs. Raw

  1. The difference between Jpeg and Raw is that Raw is the data that recorded when an image is captured. If the camera is set to JPEG the Raw date is processed and compressed before it is saved as JPEG format.
  2. A Raw file is bigger than Jpeg
  3. If I was shooting at an important event I would shoot in Jpeg because then I could get a lot more pictures since a Jpeg file is smaller than Raw; Jpeg takes up less space in the card than a Raw file would.
